Baltimore punk rock band Ravagers is back with their second full-length album, On The Loose, which has arrived this past week. The record is being released by Spaghetty Town Records in the U.S. and Wanda Records in Europe. Known for their mix of heavy punk, glam-influenced guitar work, and gritty vocals, Ravagers are stepping into darker territory with this new release.
The group includes Alex Hagen on vocals and guitar, Matt Gabs on guitar, Sam Hariss on bass, and Ray Peters on drums. The lineup is solid, and the new rhythm section brings fresh energy to the band’s aggressive sound. On The Loose includes 10 songs filled with raw power and sharp lyrics.
Songs like “Public Hell” and “Razor Love” set the tone. “Public Hell” pushes back against control and power, while “Razor Love” is about a dangerous and painful relationship. “Dogs” is a tough survival song based on real events, and “No Tomorrow No Problem” shows what it feels like to live without hope but keep going anyway. “Wicked Bones” is a personal track about losing someone to addiction and life on the streets.
The album was produced by Tuk Smith and Dan Dixon, the same team behind their last album Badlands (2022). Hagen’s voice is strong and expressive, and the guitars sound sharp and full of energy. There are moments of danger, anger, and even sadness throughout the record. The band doesn’t hold anything back.
Ravagers have been part of the underground rock scene for nearly a decade, and their style has grown while staying true to their roots. They mix fast rhythms, loud guitars, and intense emotion in a way that feels real and fearless.
If you like punk with grit and heart, On The Loose is worth checking out. Ravagers are making music that feels alive, loud, and completely their own.
