Gone Stereo’s new single Meet Me at Garvies delivers infectious pop-punk energy with catchy hooks and soaring harmonies, showcasing the band’s unique blend of 90s and early 2000s influences.

Long Island's melodic pop punk band Gone Stereo is back with a fresh single, Meet Me at Garvies, released this Fall. Recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Frank Mitaritonna at VUDU Studios, the track captures the band's signature early 2000s pop-punk vibe, with an upbeat rhythm and catchy hooks. Known for their energetic sound, Gone Stereo delivers infectious three-part harmonies that shine on this new track, making it a singalong anthem for fans of bands like New Found Glory, MxPx, and The Starting Line.

The inspiration behind Meet Me at Garvies comes from lead vocalist Matty Lupinacci's reflections on life’s fleeting moments. “It always felt like as soon as something came, it was already gone,” he explains, turning those feelings into the driving force behind the song’s lyrics. The result is a track full of energy, packed with relatable themes and memorable melodies.

Formed in 2022, Gone Stereo started as a solo pandemic project for Matty, but quickly grew into a full band with the help of friends from the Long Island punk scene. The current lineup includes Matty on vocals, Chris Lynam on guitar, Mike Drinkwalter on bass, Josh Freeman on drums, and Danny DiGiuseppe on guitar. Each member brings years of experience, having been active in the local punk scene for over two decades.

Blending influences from the 90s with the pop-punk style of the early 2000s, Gone Stereo creates a unique sound that stands out from other bands in the genre. Their live performances are filled with energy, catchy guitar riffs, and harmonies that keep audiences singing along.

Gone Stereo captures the heart of melodic pop punk, blending nostalgic energy with heartfelt lyrics, creating music that feels both personal and universally relatable. With Meet Me at Garvies, Gone Stereo shows once again that they know how to craft an earworm that fans won’t soon forget. Keep an eye on them—this is a band with serious momentum.
