HEP CAT Records is giving the whole discography from The Gears & The D.I.s full reissue treatment this September. The Gears' classic and one of the best L.A. punk albums, Rockin' At Ground Zero, is back with much more! Re-mastered, unreleased bonus tracks, etc on vinyl & two CD versions. Along with this series of unearthed material will be the reissue of Axxel G. Reese's (Vocalist of the GEARS) band The D.I.s. The band's ever revolving door also featured members of TSOL, the ROCKATS, the JONESES, LEVI DEXTER & the RIPCHORDS, the RED DEVILS, the KNITTERS and RAY CAMPI'S ROCKABILLY REBELS. Their five song 12" EP "Lock & Load" that was produced by Billy Zoom (X) is back, but as a 22 track studio recording collection. These bits of classic L.A. punk will be available September 8, 2009.
