Bulldozer's "The Hammer" puts the pedal to the floor from the opening track, "The Cocksmen" to the last track, "Kidney After Midnight" a take-up on the Judas Priest song, "Living After Midnight", which is actually damn good.
I hear a number of influences from Bulldozer in the tradition of great American Hardcore, Punk and British Metal. Nothing specific, just a good band that has soaked up it's influences and play their own music with conviction and again, lots of energy!
This record is staying on the pile next to the stereo for a while. The more I listen to this record the more I like it and that's a buried treasure worth keeping. If you want to share with your friends this gem, I suggest finding a copy of the record and playing the hell out of it until even your neighbors are hooked. It'll happen, Bulldozer is that good.
