Hyper, energetic and straight to the point Born To Lose come full throttle into the punk rock scene with "Sweet Misery". They say everything is bigger in Texas, so is the punk rock it seems. Born To Lose comes straight out in this album, selling thousands of copies of the album. A bunch of drunken rednecks with a passion for playing it loud and doing it big.
This album starts off like most but unlike a lot of punk rock today it delivers a heart pounding sound and grungy vocals by lead singer Chris K and guitarist Ben seem to really pack a punch as a duo. This album is full throttle all the way thru and if you're a punk rock fan from the beginning then you its something that's been missing. What would GG Allin think of punk rock today? Well he would probably shit on it and dry hump the record labels.
So if you're into Punk, the REAL punk rock. Take it from the guys from Texas and join in the Sweet Misery that is Born To Lose.
