Suburban Eyes, featuring members of Mineral, Christie Front Drive, and Boys Life, are set to release their debut album on August 30.

Suburban Eyes, a new indie rock band, is getting ready to release their first album on Friday, August 30. The band members, Eric Richter, Jeremy Gomez, and John Anderson, were all part of popular '90s and early 2000s bands like Mineral and Boys Life. Their debut album, produced by Jeremy Gomez and mixed by Grammy-winner Peter Katis, will be available through Spartan Records.

The band's new single, "Headlight Torches," is already available for streaming on YouTube. The song talks about how time passes quickly and reflects on how it feels to see it slipping away.

Suburban Eyes' music is described as a mix of energetic and dreamy sounds. Their style is different from the bands they used to be in. Instead of making music that sounds the same as their old bands, they have created something new. This mix of new and old sounds has caught the attention of music fans.

Jeremy Gomez, who did most of the production work for the album, said that they didn't try to copy their old bands. They wanted to create something new and fresh. To make sure the album sounded great, they brought in Peter Katis to help with the mixing. Katis has worked with well-known bands like The National and Death Cab for Cutie. Gomez said that working with Katis made a big difference and helped them achieve the sound they wanted.

Creating the album was a new experience for the band. Instead of working together in a studio, they did a lot of the work separately and virtually. Despite this, they were able to overcome challenges and make the album they wanted.

For Gomez, this band came at the perfect time. With nothing much happening in 2020, he jumped at the chance to try something new. He is happy to have reconnected with his old friends and to create music together again.

John Anderson feels that Suburban Eyes is the most important band he has been in. Making this album has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. Even if the public doesn't feel the same way, he is proud of the work they've done.

Suburban Eyes' debut album is a mix of creativity and nostalgia. It represents a new chapter for these musicians, one that is filled with fresh ideas and inspiration. Fans can look forward to hearing their new sound on August 30.
