I front a lovely dynamic dreampop shoegaze crossover duo called Ummagma ([url=http://ummagma.bandcamp.com]http://ummagma.bandcamp.com[/url]) and provide vocals for Russia’s Sounds of Sputnik ([url=http://soundsofsputnik.bandcamp.com]http://soundsofsputnik.bandcamp.com[/url]). Moved by my interest in the heart of the indie music universe, I have been lovingly involved in growing UK indie label Ear to Ear Records ([url=http://eartoearrecords.co.uk]http://eartoearrecords.co.uk[/url]) from the ground up, while also supporting other indie artists through Shameless Promotion PR ([url=http://www.ShamelessPromotionPR.com]http://www.ShamelessPromotionPR.com[/url])
Continuously meeting fascinating musicians and being exposed to awesome music has motivated me to write for the US-based online music webzine The Record Stache and UK blog The Sound of Confusion prior to that. I also contribute to Canada's Replicant Ears Magazine and Ireland's Primal Music Blog.
Hailing from northern Canada, I've spent a good portion of the last decade in Ukraine, where my husband and I operated Ummagma Studio. Not a fan of dodging bullets, I am once again living in my home country. Hey Ho Canada! |
