Headlining a string of venues across the country in November, including the iconic O2 Academy Islington, the tour dates follow support tours with Electric Six, Shonen Knife & The Wedding Present.
The multi-instrumentalist and her all-star collective are ready to bring the fireworks with extended sets, featuring tracks from latest album GRIT & predecessor Valley Of Thorns; tracks gaining wide support, from legendary DJs including Steve Lamacq, Johnny Doom, John Kennedy, Charlie Ashcroft, the late great Janice Long and as far as national US radio.
“We’re all really excited to get out on the road this month. It’s going to be a final blowout for the year and it’s an honour to have these promoters put their faith in us after having us on as support”
However, with the pressure of recent success surrounding the UK Number 1 Rock Album, the new demos EP ‘RAWIV’ is a low-key test for a new sound and direction for the prolific rocker.
“The new EP does feature piano” The Kut explained on her blog – a decision presumably made after she was generously gifted an 1800’s Grand Piano by a Team Razor earlier this year!
“I am absolutely blessed with the best supporters in the music world – thank you Team Razors - and I don’t intend to keep you waiting. That said, I’m not ready to become a content AI like Spotify wants. I’m keeping the new demos EP offline – it’s for the fans only. We’ll hash it out, like we always do, on Patreon and Team Razors I'm hoping you will tell me which tracks you want on a future record.. whenever that may be”
The demos EP is the fourth in the series of The Kut’s RAW demos records, that thanks to Team Razors, helped to fund her recovery from the closure of PledgeMusic in 2018 and future success including chart smash album GRIT.
Touring 10 countries to date, expect a hefty dose of energy, unity & punk rock spirit on tour this month.
