Capitol Records' metal quintet, Saosin, have teamed up with global youth brand Hurley to record demos for an upcoming album while also allowing fans to stream a real-time, multi-camera audio/video feed directly from the Hurley studio.

Saosin's upcoming release, The Grey EP, will feature three of the songs recorded during the Hurley studios, as well as an acoustic version of their previously released track, "Come Close". The EP will be sold exclusively at Hurley.com and on tour beginning Oct. 14.

As if the band's fan-directed altruism wasn't not enough, Saosin fans will be able to hear the newly-composed tracks live as the band embarks on their late-fall, coast-to-coast tour with Underoath.
