One year after GC Records relocated from sunny southern California to even sunnier Las Vegas they have teamed up with Dirtcult Records, another desert-based label (Las Cruces, New Mexico), to bring their own flavor to this tourist-run town in the form of a 1st Annual band showcase aptly called "Punk and Loaded in Las Vegas", which is a play on the famous gonzo book by Hunter Thompson "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." The show will be held on September 3rd, 2009 at the fabulous Bunkhouse Saloon and is being sponsored in part by Indiepit.com!
The bands playing are: Recess Records/No Idea Records' prolific Off With Their Heads, Recess Japan's The Mapes, Dirt Cult Records' Dude Jams, GC's Holding Onto Sound, Say When from Boston and another Las Vegas local band Dead Birds & Blind Kids.
