Signed to Nuclear Blast, progressive death metal act Alluvial (with members from Suffocation and The Faceless) will unleash their dark and heavy second album, Sarcoma, on May 28th.
Ahead of that drop, Alluvial have unveiled an intense and thunderous new track from the album. Titled “Thy Underling,” the song is spiked with fast-stabbing guitar lines, abyss-plunging bass, and wicked-quick drumming.
Menacingly growled out exclamations shoot through the guitar acrobatics, but at brief times a smoother guitar flow and echoing background vocals add a reflective view to the number.
It’s accompanied by an atmospheric official visualizer video that features cloud-like plumes of smoke rising in the air, the design of a human body falling into skeletal pieces, CAT scans of the brain, and images of the band members.
