Old Sol is a four-piece emo rock band from Chicago. The band formed in 2012 and continues to release music and play shows regularly while also going to school. You can catch them on the road next summer touring throughout the Midwest. Their new extended play record, Life's Scary, Man, is available this Friday.
Rebel Noise premieres the video for the track "Getting Comfortable" off the EP. The vid shows the band members playing gigs, traveling, and kicking back - basically days in the life of the band. The compiled footage is very personal and reflects the contemplative nature of the song that still rings with vibrant energy.
The band reveals, "The working title for this track before recording was "Groovy," which is the first word that came time mind back when we first wrote the song. It was something that came out of our jam sessions a long time ago, and we ended up not changing very much about it throughout the recording process for this extended play. A lot more time was spent revising other songs on the release during recording, but it felt great to have a song that we were stoked on right away."
