Hailing from Fullerton and deeply entrenched in the SoCal punk/rock scene, veteran musican Greg Antista is set to release Shake, Stomp and Stumble, a gritty, yet tuneful album with The Lonely Streets band on May 17th via Primal Beat Records. Shake, Stomp and Stumble was produced and engineered by Paul Miner (New Found Glory, Thrice, C.J Ramone).
The quartet is formed of Antista (songwriter, lead vocals, guitar), Jessica Kaczmarek (lead guitar, backing vocals, mandolin, piano), Warren Renfrow (bass), and Jorge E. Disguster (drums, backing vocals). Antista and his band mates have known each other for a very long time, but only coalesced as a band just over a year ago.
Each member is known for previous work in the music field; Antista in Joyride and Foxy, Kaczmarek (who is endorsed by Gretsch Guitars) in Busstop Hurricanes, Russell Scott & the Red Hots, and Bourbon Jones, Renfrow in Cadillac Tramps, Manic Hispanic, and Final Conflict, as well as tours with Adolescents and the Damned, among others, and Disguster in Mink Daggers and Mr. Mirainga.
Rebel Noise is pleased to be hosting the premiere of the bone-rattling, body-swinging “Shiver”, a prime cut from Shake, Stomp and Stumble. The up-tempo “Shiver” hits the gas pedal at the get-go with rip-roaring guitar lines that alternately twang and jag, running low-end bass, and lively drum beat and cymbals crash. Antista smoothes out the ride with his rich and assured vocal exclamations.
