Greensboro, North Carolina-located punk rock/melodic hardcore rock outfit Totally Slow belie their name with the release of speedy new single “Dead Skater,” with an accompanying music video where the band members bash it out with passion and propulsion.
The track is a rad intro to new album Casual Drag, which is another title that doesn’t quite fit the rapid-fire drive and uncontainable energy of the songs therein.
Casual Drag is Totally Slow’s third LP and it was unleashed on June 4th via Refresh Records.
The record sees a change in lineup and more collaborative songwriting process. The numbers are a mix of punk rock, hardcore, and noise rock, with a healthy dose of both melody and menace.
