BRMC revs up another release. The band's fifth album, Beat the Devil's Tattoo arrives March 9 from the act's own Abstract Dragon imprint, which will be handled by Vagrant Records. Beat The Devil's Tattoo was created in the same Philadelphia studio as the band's celebrated 2005 effort, Howl, and marks the recorded debut of the band's new drummer, Leah Shapiro, who has played US dates as part of the Raveonettes.
Founded by Robert Turner and Peter Hayes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club released their full-length, self-titled debut in 2000 via Virgin, which also released their second album. The band has also released records via Echo and RCA. Their original song "Done All Wrong" was featured on the Twilight: New Moon Soundtrack. Beginning at the end of February, the band will launch an extensive 27-date tour of the US and Canada in support of The Devil's Tattoo.
