Jack White’s Third Man Records announced a new vault package with some rare goodies for fans. The 15th vault package features an early recording from 1999 of Jack White & The Bricks, a “short lived band who’s members included Jack White, Brendan Benson, Kevin Peyok and Ben Blackwell.” Benson would later join White in The Raconteurs, Blackwell is a member of Detroit’s The Dirtbombs. The concert takes place at Detroit’s Garden Bowl—yes, a bowling alley, and it’s said the gig takes place on lanes 11-14. The recording is appropriately pressed on bowling pin-colored vinyl.

The package also includes demos from Benson and White including The White Stripes’ “The Same Boy You’ve Always Known” (which appeared on 2001’s White Blood Cells) and Raconteurs single “Steady as She Goes.” The demos were recorded by Benson in Detroit before The Raconteurs’ formation.

The release is also set to include a tour DVD called “White Heat,” which was created by Whirlwind Heat drummer Brad Holland and features unseen footage of White joining the band on stage, along with White Stripes footage. To get the package, you have to be a member of Third Man’s vault, and the deadline to get the package is Jan. 31.
