Based in Austria and powered only by double bass, drums, harmonica, and vocals – no guitars allowed! – blues-punk duo DeadBeatz deliver raw and rollicking punk ‘n’ roll music on their upcoming album Meet Us At Dawn.
The LP unleashes on November 5th via SBÄM Records and is a raucous and tuneful blast that showcases the blues, punk, and rockabilly genres, stripped down to the essentials: Rhythm, melody, and high energy.
Their tagline of “too BLUES to be PUNK - too PUNK to be BLUES” rings true throughout their tunes. David Karlinger is on drums and harmonica and Bernie Miller is on bass and lead vocals.
DeadBeatz live for gigs and hope to bring their dynamic and ferocious sound to stages around the world.
They’ve expanded their range to include more reflective ruminations, which is displayed on the single “Oh Evening” that appears on the new album.
