SoCal ska/reggae/pop-punk collective Half Past Two drop a tuneful, lively, and heartfelt EP.

Southern California-located band Half Past Two is a, count ‘em, 9-piece collective dedicated to bringing a variety of music genres together into one engaging blend.

Half Past Two’s upcoming EP Something Blue mixes ska, rock, reggae, and pop-punk for a tasty, and dynamic to reflective combination.

The 3-song EP was produced by David Irish (Reel Big Fish, Suburban Legends) at Pot O’ Gold Recording in Orange, California.

Rebel Noise is stoked to host the premiere of the whole EP today on its release date of July 3rd.

Tara Hahn (vocals), Max Beckman (guitar, vocals), David Parris (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Cameron Hallenbeck (lead guitar), Mark Anderson (bass), Dan Evans (drums), Jordy Coutin (trumpet), Jack Sneddon (trombone), Din Fernandes (baritone sax) kick it old-school with a warm, rich, and lively set of tuneful tracks that revel in peppy and punchy rhythms, mellow grooves, bright and uplifting percussion, heartfelt vocals, and relationship-based lyrics.

Half Past Two have five studio releases to their name, played over 100 shows, and are strongly connected to the local Orange County music scene.
